I have been harassed at this unit every day since I got to it, and it's gotten worse every day for the past few days. Today, the assistant director and nurse manager met with me and offered me no support at all, refusing to take responsibility for what kind of place this is. They even said that, since the people who are harassing me a lot are mostly Department of Mental Health clients, there's nothing they, the staff, can do about the behavior of the patients. They just keep trying to avoid responsibility for my being abused.
I feel like I'm going to be at the mercy of anyone who wants to abuse me, for the rest of my life.
