They're not flattering, are they? They are not nice at all.
I never asked for and have never tried to get publicity. I have always hoped that my publications will cause the conglomerate to decide that it, the conglomerate, is doing things that it shouldn't do, and then it will stop doing them. That's turning out to be a long, slow process.
The blogs about me, all of which seem to be calling me a paranoid schizophrenic and a psychofeminist who deserves to be beaten, raped and killed, are nonetheless bringing public attention to my situation. The most notorious of those blogs, called "Stop Stalking Me: The Best of Lena Kochman," has had over 200,000 views. Although almost all of the comments added to it are negative, there are fewer than 1,000 of them. Many of those comments are written by people who then start to argue with each other, which both is funny and shows what sort of people are taking the time to write the hateful comments at all.
Also, people tend to write those comments for a while and then to stop writing them, which suggests that either they get tired of trashing me or they observe the situation for a while and get to the conclusion that I'm not so crazy.
This blog, Things I Wrote, which is written by me, has had over 50,000 views and averages about 10,000 views over 30 days.
My burgeoning fame brings a lot of pressure with it. With so many people getting to know who I am, there's less room for mistakes than ever.
