I am aging, no doubt about it. My secret to attracting men?
I'm not b----y. I can be mean, but it doesn't last and I'm always sorry for it. I don't tend to make unreasonable demands. I do not insist that a man think of me or act as if he thinks of me as being perfect and therefore unlike other women.
I do not try to belittle people on a regular basis. I try, even when I am angry, to treat people like people.
I don't try to make people jealous and I don't enjoy it when they are. I try not to gossip.
I tried to be all of the above before I started aging, and it's fortunate for me that I started practicing those things when I did. Not being vicious myself, I don't walk around expecting vicious behavior from people, unless they have consistently shown that sort of behavior to me. Even then, I often hope that I'll be able to think better of them, that they'll get nicer. There are things that a decent person doesn't do to other people, no matter what; I try to remember that.
