Male coughing outside my room

The unit was almost empty for the past several days, and there were no male patients.  A male patient got here last night, and has coughed outside my room every few minutes since 6:45 this morning.

After an hour of it, I asked him to stop.  He said "I have a cough" and refused.  I asked the nurse to speak to him; she said she would.  Soon after that, he coughed outside my room again.  I asked the nurse if she had spoken to him; she said she had.  

I am sure that women are being chronically disrespected all over the United States, because of the conglomerate.
