The nurse shut the office door in my face.

February 4, 2015

I was trying to tell her that the male patient had harassed me again.  She said "I'm not listening to any more of this," and she shut the office door in my face.  The male patient witnessed all of this, also, and said "I'm not going to take it if you get in my face again."  This afternoon he called me a bitch because I had asked him not to have his cell phone conversation right outside the door of my room.

I pounded on the office door a few times after the nurse shut it in my face.  She opened the door and said "If you do that again, I'm calling the police."

I told her "Do it."  I had almost called the police myself, to tell them that this unit routinely allows male patients to aggress upon female patients and threatens the female patients who try to ask for help to stop the aggression.

I am doubtful that my side of the story will be listened to if she has called the police.  That's not how the world works for mental patients.
