When was the last time that anyone at Hearst's/ABC's WCVB, or any other conglomerate media, read about professional, journalistic ethics from a creditable source?

YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO HURT PEOPLE FOR NO REASON, AND YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO NOT CARE WHEN YOU DO HURT PEOPLE FOR NO REASON!

You're not supposed to spread rumors.  You're not supposed to assassinate people's characters.  You're not supposed to corrupt the public's morals.  You're not supposed to lie, whether blatantly or with insinuation.  You're not supposed to invade or otherwise abuse someone's privacy for no reason; lewd entertainment does not qualify as a reason to destroy someone's privacy.

You are supposed to report real and important information accurately, truthfully, and responsibly.  That is what you are paid to do.
