It's one of several that I have had this week. I think this one qualified as cold.
When I take a shower at this crisis unit, I try to block the light at the bottom of the door, with a towel. There's not much I can do about the light that gets in through the vent in the door. There is a chair in the bathroom, and I put the chair in front of the vent; that blocks some of the light.
Then I turn off the light in the bathroom and take a shower in the dark. Tonight I shaved my legs in the shower, in the dark.
Whenever I change clothes or use the toilet, I also do those things in the dark.
It seems to me that the conglomerate is planning to make me live this way for the rest of my life.
