It's all how you look at it!

October 1, 2014

I have noticed how much nothing that I say causes the conglomerate to stop or even to do anything except enjoy itself even more at my protests.  When I say things like "You can't have sex with children/be voyeurs/stalk/sexually harass people," and everything else that I have said, they say "Obviously, we can do those things; nothing and nobody have stopped us," or "That's not what we're doing; you're just a bad person.  Everybody else likes it or deserves it."

It's like having a bunch of people break into your house who are going to steal everything and then burn your house down.  At first, you think they're joking. Then you realize that, even though they're all laughing, they are going to do what it seems like they're going to do.  When you say "You can't steal," they say "Obviously we can; nothing and nobody have stopped us," or "We're not stealing; it's about time someone taught you to share, you selfish thing."

When you say "You can't burn my house down," they say "Obviously we can; nothing and nobody have stopped us," or "We're not burning your house down; we're aerating the premises, which we have to do because you lived here."
