Life's ironic decisions

October 31, 2014

I don't even know how many times in my life I have wished to have a terminal illness.  I don't know that I could be physically healthier, though, and that has been true all my life.

I don't know why life strikes down some people who are happy and who want to live, while it sends a bunch of free coupons for health and longevity to people who hate waking up in the morning.

I read and loved the Harry Potter book series before it was made into a movie series.  I'm not sure how many of the movies I saw; I know I saw the first one, and liked that.

This is a quote from Dumbledore:

"After all, to the well-organized mind, death is but the next great adventure."

That's an intelligent thought, but it's not fair that people who want to live so often can't, and that people who could have happy lives are so often forced to live miserable ones.
