You have got to stop taking things that I say personally.  If I wanted to be mean to you, I would just be mean to you; do you doubt it?

I am serious about not dating royalty, and about keeping a healthy and respectful distance from it.  Inherited, political power and wealth are not to be trifled with, and I have already lost much of my freedom from conflict with other types of power and wealth (if those aren't synonyms), and my subsequent and undeserved notoriety.

I am also not the sort of person who likes the thought of making happy couples unhappy, and I DON'T LIKE people who do; they are dangerous, miserable people.

Merry Christmas to you and the rest of the family.  I can't help laughing; most of the time, I can't believe that you, and everybody else who knows who I am, know who I am.
