The State of the Union Address

January 20, 2015

-Nice tie.  Thank you.

-"15 years into the new century."  It will be 100 years before another President will be able to say that during a State of the Union Address, and I'll be DEAD by then, Thank G-d.

-Child care:  really important.

-10 days of paid sick leave would be two weeks of standard business days.  That would be good for people who don't feel better by Wednesday.

-Free community college; great idea.

-"CVS and UPS"?!  I shop at CVS because I have to buy things.  Do you think I should shop at Walgreens instead?  There are a lot of CVS pharmacies around the Boston area, fewer Walgreens, and far fewer Rite Aids.  I continue to be stalked by all sorts of drivers every day, including UPS drivers.

-Are you or are you not aware that hundreds of other people were videotaped where we were all supposed to have privacy?  Voyeurism inflicted on ANYONE is NOT TOLERABLE, is illegal and a horrible violation.  I have said that a lot.  I never had to say it even once if it weren't what I thought and how I felt.  If I were someone who wanted to cash in on it somehow, by allowing the conglomerate to turn me into the circus freak and neverending joke that it wants me to be, I could have done that.  How many times do rapists have to hear the word "NO"?!  If the word is said one or a thousand times, a rapist doesn't care.

-Please stop attacking Mr. Allen.

-Plan B and drugs like it can't safely be administered without prescriptions.  Many people will be harmed because of what has happened.

-I think you should have talked about the abducted girls and women who are forced wives and sex slaves and who need to be rescued.  I think you should have said that the United States will try to rescue them, and that it will keep trying until it has succeeded.
