Sexual harassment at the Pine Street Inn, Quincy Auto Auction

July 31, 2014

For the past half hour, a homeless woman at the Pine Street Inn has been coughing at me.  She has bullied me this way frequently over the past few weeks, even at night when people are supposed to be sleeping.

I don't feel that I can talk to staff about her this morning, because I have already talked to a staff person about another homeless woman who has started bullying me with coughing harassment over the past few days.  Also, when I went to the office this morning to speak with my advocate about that homeless guest, there was another staff person in the office who was wearing a white, v-necked shirt, who waved at me to get my attention, smiled and said "Hi," and then went into a fit of loud, exaggerated coughing.

That's bad.  It's also bad that, while I was writing the last sentence, my advocate walked out of the kitchen and past me to the office, saying several times "Sticky floor."

What I was going to say when I started the last paragraph was "That's bad.  It's also bad that the staff person wearing the white, v-necked shirt is friends with a woman who works at the Quincy Auto Auction.  The woman at the Quincy Auto Auction is someone who has coughed at me and who also offered no support at all when I tried to talk to her about the ongoing abuses of me at that auction, like the temporary license plate, #41v, that is put on every post-sale car that gets inspected in the building where the auction happens, where everyone who walks or drives past the building sees it during the hours that the auction takes place.
