I didn't see the movie "Gone Girl." It was by chance that I read something online that described some of Ben Affleck's relationship in the movie with Emily Ratajkowski.
She is 23. He is 42. I haven't heard anyone screaming about the age gap between them, calling him "Dad" or "goat."
The age gap between them is larger by several years than the age gap between Zac Efron and me. I refused to date Mr. Efron when he was the age she is now because he promoted the conglomerate's agenda and because I thought he was too young for me.
The only thing that made the conglomerate stop some of its screaming about how old and ugly I am was that the hatemongering about my age begged the question "If she's so ugly, why did you want to get video of her in the shower?" The true answer to that question is "Because we want to humiliate and control her," and the conglomerate wanted to make that answer less obvious.
