That is probably why the Catholic Church and other religious organizations have promoted sexual abuse.
If the major governments make sexual abuse legal, or stop enforcing the laws against sexual abuse, priests and other employees of those religious organizations will stop going to jail when they perpetrate sexual abuse, and those religious organizations will stop losing lawsuits about sexual abuse.
